The French Institute in Hungary is selling a French government vehicle.
The vehicle can be viewed by appointment at the following address:
1011 Budapest, Fő utca 17.
Tel.: +36 1 489 4200 Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Interested bidders are invited to submit their bids before October 31, 2025, 4 p.m., at the reception desk of the French Institute (1011 Budapest, Fő utca 17.).
Your bid must be in forints and include your full name, contact details, and signature. The bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Bid for PEUGEOT 807 vehicle” and addressed to Ms. Sophie Shimizu.
The sale will be concluded on the basis of the highest bid. The highest bidder, as well as all other bidders, will be notified on November 10, 2025.
It is also specified that the sale is made without any guarantee as to the condition of the vehicle.
In accordance with French law, a flat-rate tax of 6% of the bid amount will be applied in addition to the proposed price. Bids must therefore take into account the amount offered for the purchase of the vehicle and the amount of the tax. If all bids are deemed too low, the tender will be deemed unsuccessful.
